Prime Time News coming to channel 36

On 12/2 , 11 alive News takes over prime time on channel 36. After several attempts and expanding the morning show past 7am on channel 36, Tegna is going to add 8 and 9 pm newscasts to the sister station. My Network prime time will slide to midnight as channel 36 will be all news 8-11pm. This will give 46 competition at 9 and maintain competition with tv 5 at 10pm. This option exists in San Francisco, LA and Seattle and now Atlanta. I just wonder how this will do but many major market MY network affiliates do not air its network shows until after prime time.

To clarify some things...

There's no morning news on WATL.

This option exists in Seattle but its 8-10pm on KZJO and then its KCPQ from 10-11:35pm. Same for Portland where its 8-10pm on KPDX and then 10-11:35pm on KPTV.

IF you look at old tv schedules you will see where 36 did air an 7am hour at least twice and even some weekend morning news hours in the past.
