don't think it's giving the contestants a break
when it's running while Regis reads the question.

As for Regis putting the attention as much on
himself as the contestants, I think he has such
an overpowering personality that he indeed does
that (I often thought the same thing about Richard
Dawson). But keep in mind, I'm giving all of you Tim
Brando's thoughts, not mine, and I'm not necessarily
in agreement with everything he says. For instance,
when he says that Tom Bergeron is the only other host
who puts himself in a secondary role, I ask, what about
Todd Newton? Maybe the new Bill Cullen hasn't appeared
yet, but who's to say he/she isn't out there waiting for a
break? You said yourself, homerjay, that they all had to
start somewhere.
But the bottom line, if anyone cares to hear my thoughts,
is that I'm not happy with this go-round of "Millionaire":
the rules, the celebrities, the questions emphasizing popular
culture. I watched it two nights and stopped.
