Small market station that wishes it was big isn't necessarily a bad thing to say anyway. Actually it describes most small market music stations. The talkers are usually the ones that acknowledge their localism and market size. Small market music stations, even those that are heavy into local promotions, are usually quite aware of the food chain when it comes to neighboring bigger markets that in some cases don't sound as good.

Hey since this area wouldn't know a CHR radio battle if it got bit on the butt with it, at least we have a simlated one on here. And ironically the bottom line is the only people who really care are the ones in the business in this day and age.

Hey Zach, first off I bet I'm the youngest..I'm 14. Second off, I disagree with your "awful jocks that have been on nights prior to Kerry Collins" comment. Yes, Kerry is a great jock. But they have had good night jocks in the past such as Robby Bridges & Nazzy. But definatly Kerry is a good person to fit the Pro Nights.

Your Napoleon complex, young man.

Also, how is saying "a small market station that wishes it was big" an insult? They surely have about 14 weekenders, former Boston talent, and "big boy ratings".

Saying "Hey DJ X Sucks" is an insult. Saying they "wish they were in a big market" isn't an insult. When I play baseball in the summer, I wish I was playing for the Red Sox. I don't, but it doesnt mean that I wouldn't crush a Wakefield knuckler.

Thats my analogy for the day...enjoy.

Naw man its nothing like that. Kerry just happens to be a very good personal friend of mine and I speak highly of him because he deserve all the praise he gets on this board. He will do a great job at pro FM.

I have an idea. Let's see if we can break a radio-info board record for longest thread that has nothing to do with the subject heading! :)
