I would also figure that once 9/21 rolls around there will be a night jock....now that Tony is done filling in middays for the past 2 days, the final decision will be made

i have a simple fix..... i heard tony this week in for jess.... and he still sounds great i think... so heres what i think the new line up shouls be
5:30-10 geo and kim
10a-2p jess
2-7 tony bristol
7-12m davy morris
12-5:30 big doug
and the problem is solved..... im sure tony could pull a shift if he wanted to.... its ovious davy dont put to much into his air shift so move him to nights where he could just forget about most of it and voice track it.... and mabe get big doug back back to to over nights cause as far as i know hes back at pro-am in some capacity any thoughts???

theres more people listining to afternoon drive than nights.... so if the person dosent put much enthousium into afternoon drive move him to nights( where half the shift could be tracked) and put someone into the afternoon drive slot that gonna at least make it seem like he wants to be there is what im trying to say

To be fair Davey does sound OK superficially but he's in-one-ear-out-the-other and I don't think he cares. I don't think nights are the answer for him if they want listener interraction as he really has no personality. If PRO FM isn't gonna push any limits at night they should have left Kerry there. I can see him wanting to move to mornings somewhere but Hot isn't the answer and frankly he isn't a morning personality. Let's see what happens when he has team members to interract with. Jess is doing a good job middays but afternoons Ed Tarbox's voice is heard more than Davey's. I think some people there just need change to shake up their careers and get motivated but it's too comfy cozy on The Trail.

If salary & health benefits are part of the reason the night shift hasn't been filled.They should just voice track the shift. I'm pretty sure Citadel Corporate wouldn't mind the extra savings....

Actually Big Doug did track the overnight on PRO FM for a while. Nice touch but I agree that nights are the priority and since they have Big Stress on Hot, one of the few that sounds like he's on a hip hop station, you just know PRO is gonna go with a safe show.

Davey Morris is the sadest excuse for a top 50 market PM drive jock i've ever heard....he sounds like he doesn't have a clue.

All Tony Bristol has to do is look at 3 smaller CHRs that rimshot the market for his night jock. It's just getting a little ridiculous now. 96-3 The Rose's Shannon, I98's Rivers and Q105's Double G all would be great fits at PRO-FM. All 3 are excellent jocks whose market size and talent don't really fit together. I'm sure any of those 3 would jump at the chance for the money and greener pastures of Providence.
