Since when did WAJF Decatur become "ProTalk 1490"?
http://www.protalkradio.com
When I was living in Decatur/Huntsville, I know the then current owner Troy Bryant was looking to sell because he took a job in, Columbus a believe.
He still owed money on the station to it's original owner and was asking around $250,000.
Did he sell it and the new owners retained him as engineer or did he hire a real staff and clean the palce up a little bit?
Edit: Further checking, when you click on their webstream it shows "Copyright CVCO, Inc" and when you google CVCO, Inc you get:
http://www.1049theriver.com/HTML/cvco.html
Their automation obviously needs help, I heard "Your new home for news, talk, weather and sports... Pro Talk 1490" in the middle of a newscast from CBS then abruptly went into "Morning In America"
By the way, they've got a decent set up there, with an LPTV down the hall form them and an LPFM in the next room........
