Ok, this is one of those posts in which I already know the answer but I will ask anyway.

Here is my scenario. I use Pro-Tools and the rest of the building uses Adobe Audition. If there any program/technique that can be used to convert Adobe sessions to Pro-Tools or visa versa?

I have been searching but as expected..nothing?

BTW-When is Digidesign going to sue Adobe for copying many features of Pro-Tools such as automation commands (touch, latch, etc). Couldn't they come with different names? WOW!
Edited by 192khz on 03/20/06 03:34 PM.

pro tools is so picky I really doubt this can happen. I've owned pro tools in my home studio for years and have never come across a way to do this. Pro tools is so picky that it won't even run on some PC motherboards with certain chip sets.

EDLconvert will convert those sessions...I think it's about $100.

Only if you're using Pro Tools 5.0 ... and if you are, time to upgrade! : )

Thanks for the tip on EDLconvert. Yes, unfortunately it will only convert 5.0 sessions. I am prepared to jump through hoops just not that many. After all this is radio, not the circus! :)

Really, thanks for the posts!
Edited by 192khz on 03/27/06 03:39 PM.
