Problems with WGN America?

They were showing "Scrubs" between 10:30 and 11pm Central today.... once during the show, they interuptted it for a commercial in the middle of a scene, then a few minutes later a Subway commercial got started in the middle of a scene, went back to the show, then played the 2nd half of the commercial again.

Just an automation or switching error?
 
I can't see it being an automation error if it went back to the show in the middle of a commercial break. I'd go for operator error (although I'm not sure if WGN America even employs MCOs)
 
It could be automated, sharing an MC with WGN-TV's local Chicago feed.

Someone must have accidentially pressed the wrong button, causing the commerical to preempt programming. It was just an accident...and nothing to make a big fuss about. It happens all of the time.
