Problems with WUVN on Comcast

In all seriousness, don't bother calling your mom. It's a critical failure at WUVN, and they are scrambling to get it resolved asap.
 
It happened during the storms last night, seems like the link between transmitter and studio is down as my digital box is getting the full signal and all the sub channels are open, but it's dead carrier all the way across them all. Dish network has the same Spanish disclaimer they were using for WHCT until they dropped it, and speaking of which, what is the status of WHCT-LP?

I just LOVE how people speculate wildly. They lost the controller card on the multiplexer. Bob seems to have found one to borrow until Harris can get him a new one.
 
OUCH! Ok, so I didn't know what's happened (and I never said I did), but it's not THAT bad of a guess as it could have been something like that. Anyway, did the card get zapped in the storm? I ask as they did go down in the midst of all that lightning.

We have DirecTV in the breakroom where I work. Basically they have a slide up saying the station is experiencing technical difficulties and there's no need to call DirecTV.

DirecTV leaves that slide up until the broadcaster contacts them to take it down.

Or they think to look, but I'd imagine that slide replaces what they see in Master Control in Castle Rock. After the The Great October Snowpocalypse Snowmageddon Spectacular of 2011, I was a little too busy... finally called after 2 hours.

When I get a fiber failure fixed I call them all, just as a final sanity check.
