I did this topic a couple of years ago... so, wonder what everyone thinks of the way the stations sound now... I'll throw in my 2 cents....

NJ1015... love the reverb...

95.1 'AYV... I know Mike isn't there any more, but man that processing....

And now that Mike is over at the Atlantic cluster.. take a listen to those stations... I can hear the difference in the processing already... so much better than they were only 2 months ago... 98.3 has some reverb, 102.7 sounds like it's not running on a "Tandy" processor, and 103.7 sounds like it's BOOMING over 'ZXL....

I think 'ZXL sounds flat.

OK... that's about it... I'm sure I'll think of something else as soon as I click "Post"
 
JSE def sounds louder if anything, they used to sound so low. You would be on just about any other station then click to them and always have to turn up the volume, its not nearly as bad anymore.
 
OK... let's go down the dial..... where do I start..

94.3 Hmm.... through the static and with the coat hanger on my antenna I can kind hear that their processing sucks....

95.1 Have to agree... great sound!

96.1 Another nice sounding station... as far a processing, but the music seems a bit off lately

96.9 Yawn... nothing too special about this station...

97.3 Yea... NJ101.5 / 97.3 has a great sound.. I like the reverb too....

98.3 This station came alive... think I hear some reverb on the jocks too... have to listen more... OK, I'm back... reverb for sure...

98.7 "fffff....ffff.f..ff...ffff...ffffff..ff.f.f..ffff" (that's static if you didn't get it)

99.3 BOOM!!! more bass than speakers can contain... but talk about a safe and lame format... I'm just sick of clear channel their crappy CHR-in-a-can format.

100.7 OMG... I can hear myself age when I listen to this station..... maybe they can put Kiss on this one too. Oh, yea... processing... sucks.

102.7 OK... you might have figured it out by now... but I really like this station.. and all my posts kinda give that away... but I think it sounds 10000% better than before in processing and music.

103.7 Finally, they stopped playing classic classic classic classic rock and started playing some not so classic stuff... you can actually hear Pearl Jam on this station, and the processing is HUGE! it kinda happened when Nick left (OK.. I know I'm gonna get slammed for that one)

104.9 Another great sounding station.. (not quite AYV, but nice)... and catch the HD!

106.7 Wait, we have a station on 106.7 in this market???? Hmmm.. maybe their off the air today...

107.3 Even though I hate country, every country station I hear sounds nice... and so does this one... not bad.. and the signal for a 25k is really nice....
