Processing Part 15

In another post, Carl, Steve, and I are hashing out what transmitter would best suit a new part 15 station in a small town in Wisconsin. After I decide on a transmitter, which will most likely end up being the EDM FM transmitter, I have to figure out how to process my smokin' hot audio that will be hitting the airwaves. I've read before about some processing in Winamp that does all the compressing, limiting, and all that other fun stuff that you need to use. My question is, if I use another form of automation, can I set up a separate computer between my console and the transmitter with nothing more than an instance of Winamp with their compressor plugin installed, and just run my audio through there before it goes to the EDM?
Thanks!

Yes, actually, you could. When you get that computer all set up, simply go to the "Open Location" window in Winamp and type in "line://". Hit "OK", and you're good to go!
