I interviewed for a Prod/Imaging gig in Detroit (Infinity's WKRK) a year ago. Pay was between $72-76k. It was too image one station and some commerical prod.

Has nothing to do with market size as much as it does revenue and whether budgets are being met. Obviously the larger the market the likelihood of a higher salary. But not always. That same cluster five years ago, was only offering $45k to image WYCD.

I was making as much in market 43 as the same postion in market 25 (both CC stations). I turned down the latter. Why make a lateral move for the same $$$? Revenue and budgets. In fact, my first question in interviews are "Are you making budget?" and "What is your annual revenue?"<P ID="signature">______________
