Profanity delay for online broadcasting

Yeah, that's an excellent unit. We have them in the cluster where my "real" job is, but if I could afford $2000.00 for my little studio I'd have already bought it.

You could probably find an old ITC recorder with the delay playback head built-in on the cheap - all you'd have to do is keep a supply of carts handy for when they break or wear out.
 
I used an old dj mixer that had a delay on it once. It was like an 8 second. You pu the output off the main board into this thing and then the output of the dealy mixer back up on a pot on the baord. Then if someone says
something you want to cut, just pot it down in cue untill it passes and bring it back up. Not the easiest way, but it worked for me.
