On a certain station (won't say which one) but I heard a song that says ME VALE (Mothers) is that considered profanity on the radio?
I also heard a another song from Voz De Mando AHORA RESULTA.
The dirty version has lots of profanity!
"Me vale madre" means "I couldn't give a damn" and is not a profanity.
The only real vulgarism in the Voz de Mando song is "puta" or "whore." That is a strong word, but not a profanity. I usually say it when I stub my toe or hit my finger with a hammer or somesuch.
"Santa Maria, Madre De Dios!"
That's typically my "toe stubbing" exclamation.
That would be La Mejor, Señor Tejano? I've caught a few words fly on 104-5 that would make my mother blush, if she were still living. I guess LBC figures the suspiciously low audio masks the seedy lyrics coming from the Church's translator.
What about (CHINGADERA) Isn't that considered bad also in Spanish?
"Santa Maria, Madre De Dios!"
That's typically my "toe stubbing" exclamation.
