PROGRESSIVE TALK IS GONE!

That station couldn't sell a commercial for 50 cents. Now they are in a mad panic to stay out of bankruptcy. Remember all those posts about how great the stations doing and how they are on "the move". LOL. Now another format change.

Classic rock on a 2000 Watt AM band radio station. That only reaches to River road North. ahahahahahah. Poor Alan, trying to keep that boat full of holes afloat. It's not you Alan. It's the ownership and the GM. Until that changes nothing will ever work. /end

Thanks for your input Chris Lidberg. You've been fooled again.

KWFM has not changed format. I'm listening to Dr. Joy right now.

Alan Michaels is a seasoned radio vet. A newbie to the radio biz should think before they post so they don't embarrass themselves. That 2kw blowtorch gets out further than you think. The old engineer Randy Howard is guilty of a lot of neglect. Thats better now with a good engineer. As KJLL the station was a loser run by losers. Thats my opinion. However, they should be remembered for the work they did, good or bad.

John C. Scott (Ulm) - General Manager
Mark Ulm - Board Operator
Amy Ulm - Salesman
Nicole Cox - Business Manager & Bookeeper
Joel Caton - Production Director
Christopher Lidberg - Salesman
Randy Howard - Chief Engineer
Charles Aubrey - Board Operator

I don't know about bankruptcy but they seem to be doing well. Maybe we should just wait and see what happens. I'm curious to see if Stephanie and Ed return tomorrow.

KFMA has not changed format? It played music all morning. Uh wtf? You do realize they're not allowed to just play music when they want, there are contracts, licensing and other things that need to be set up before format changes can take effect.

If I remember correctly aren't talk radio stations only allowed to play music ramps for like 15-20 seconds before royalties get looked at? Yet KWFM/KJLL just thinks they can do what ever they want huh?

I'll make a few calls. See what I can do to help ;)

KFMA huh?

Please tell us more about contracts, licensing and other things that need to be set up before format changes can take effect. Sounds really complicated. Maybe Alan and company have all that good stuff taken care of? I dunno, sounds like this is something for an expert. Do we have anyone qualified reading this thread?????

Ed Shultz was seen crying and shown the door at KWFM.

And Ed could have been crying because his wife was just diagnosed with ovarian cancer and he will be off radio and TV for a while.

Hey I'm just happy that Phil Hendrie is still on at midnight....funny stuff as I drive home from work.

Sounds like things are getting better at The Jolt. ;D

Alan can still turn on his golden top 40 jock pipes any time.....sounds great! ;)
