Progressive talk on WLS

Stayed up late to enjoy the semi-annual "Silent Night" on WLS (890) and WMVP (1000) and heard Radio Progesso on 890 from Havana, Cuba. Cuba has no version of CDBS, so there were no listings of ERP or location, but the station ID clearly stated "Radio Progesso en Habana." Even if Cuba did have a CDBS, it would be just that, BS, because radio stations there have a habit of signing on and off and changing power without notice. Nothing tunable on 1000, but KDKA (1020) usually marginal, at best, sounded like a local.

WCBS (880) was also tunable with occasional drift from KRVN (880 Lexington, NE).

Now, back to sleep.
