I spoke with Clay Hunnicutt a couple days ago. They are just on vacation this week. But it's an odd time to take a vacation since morning shows normally don't take time off (save a death in the family or illness) during spring and fall books. (Though now we are in PPM land, which gets rid of quarterly figures and makes it a year-round monthly deal.)
They are adding a new member to the morning team shortly. El Jefe, former producer of the Ron & Fez show when they were in DC. He also co-hosted The Hideout, which started in DC, then moved to Orlando and then back to DC.
Another show he co-hosted was Next, which has been on heard on XM, FreeFM in NYC, and even had a tryout week on 96.1 sometime last year.
He has also gone by the name Dro Silva, where he was the PD of 2 AM stations in the Tampa Bay area and hosted his own morning talk show. He recently quit those gigs so that he could make the move to Atlanta.
