Project Trio is a band who has now put out three albums, but remains relatively obscure.
I'm having difficulty pinning them down.
Listen to "Dr. Nick" or "Grass" and they sound like a smooth jazz act that you might spin once or twice a week for variety's sake. Listen to "City of Dreams" and you might put them in the "soft AC" ballad category. And if you listen to "Three Movie Scenes", you'll want to relegate them to classical music.
So, have any of you heard of this group? Are you spinning them in any capacity?
