Normally I wouldn't even bring this up, but since I heard this mispronounciation on 2 different radio stations I've gotta bring it up. And I'm not trying to offend anyone with this post. It's just an observeation.
Tonight while driving home from work I was listening to Reggae Riddims on Hot 93.7 and a couple times they played a liner done by a guy with a Caribbean Accent. He said the station as "HOT NINETY-TREE SEVEN" rather than HOT "NINETY-THREE SEVEN".
This is the second day in a row I heard this mispronounciation, but yesterday it was a different radio station.
Yesterday I was listening to the Caribbean Pirate Station on 103.3 FM and the voice over guy said "You're listening to ONE-OH-TREE POINT TREE FM" rather than "ONE-OH-THREE POINT THREE FM".
