Which program do you guys think works better? I have only used the ENCO program so I don't want to answer because I haven't used the Prophet system. But from what I've heard Prophet is easier to use than ENCO... do you all agree?

DjJOS,

try posting this on either the Coast to Coast boards or the Engineering board.
You;ll get a better response from a wider audience there..

In my experience, Prophet is easier to work with than ENCO in both on-air & voicetracking.

Lets see. With ENCO, if i minimize the screen, the music stops. With Prophet, I could sign in at home and fire things.

Prophet. Most certainly Prophet.

Our stations use Selector and Maestro. Automation and voice tracking seem to be pretty seamless. We were using AudioVault for a while but got rid of that.

We use DADpro32 on our FM(WSJI)and it works well running on Win 2k Pro. Agreed it's better for straight automation . WVCH uses the original i486 DOS version of DAD, and even THAT is ptretty reliable. It's very susceptible to computer clock drift, though, and makes clean network joins out of local programming a bit tricky....
