WPRO FM: CHR with a wider variety of music
WSNE: They sound decent now but that's a recent phenom so God knows what they'd be doing considering all the years they didn't sound as good. We'd probably have seen a few flips along with way here.
HJY: Rock with deeper cuts
B101: Still oldies. Maybe not 50s but more of a pop than rock feel.
Lite: No difference
Hot: Who the hell knows? Probably flips along the way here.
WCTK: No change

In some cases there'd probably be lesser talents and more turnover and a lot of people would probably be making a lot less. Depends on who owned what.

You could really have a field day with this one but a lot would depend on who owned what. CC, Citadel, another major player, or independent owners with less money to spend or unwillingness to spend it. Voicetracking would be more prevalent with no multi-tasking that goes on within a cluster. Fewer people would be worked harder. You'd have most of any station's money being spent on morning shows (more so than now). You'd have more turnover but there could be more places to go within the market because you wouldn't be dealing with one company owning multiple stations which limits your ability to jump to another station in the market.

As far as what the formats would be it really doesn't depend on who sounds good or otherwise but what format fits into the grand scheme with multiple ownership and which stations are being protected by others.

I think there wouldn't be much difference in what formats stations would program.

Even before consolidation, radio stations were narowing their programming focus, looking for smaller-and-smaller niches where they'd have no competition.
