PSI antennas

Have not heard about these guys before but was referred to them for a competitive quote for our translator project. Price was right, staff was very attentive providing drawings and specs quickly. Any comments, pro or con, about PSI and their products?? www.psibroadcast.com

We have an 8 bay PSI, it took longer than they promised to deliver, but it works well, haven't had any issues in 7 years on it. Good coverage.

Had a failure in one (running 6 kW input power) after about 5 years. They were very responsive and sent upgrade parts to the latest version since the tower crew had to be up there anyway.

There are several reasonably good choices for low power translator antennas. I would have no concerns over PSI. Nicom and SWR also have been good, reliable, antennas.

I like the people and the products a lot. Never any problems with quality or delivery, always great to work with, very competitive pricing. Highly recommended!

I used to only generally want to get ERI stuff. Lately ERI has been doing things like laying off long-time good employees like Bob Groome, our long-time rep that we bought about 100k worth of stuff from in the past few years. Sadly, I see ERI slipping. I will now strongly entertain buying from PSI and others now where I wouldn't have even given it much of a thought otherwise. ERI probably should have stayed out of the tower erection business. Most of ERI's issues stem from the erection side of the business from what I hear...
