Cathie Valentine's role as Executive Director of the PSRBA
(Puget Sound Radio Broadcasters Assn) comes to a close at the end of the year.
She did a great job with the annual Northwest Soundie Awards for the past 13 years.
The Soundie Awards are given to honor the best of local Radio creative, and
have been awarded in Seattle since 1985 - making it one of the longest running,
Radio-only awards programs in the country.
More than 400 guests attend the event annually which is generally held in the spring.
Over 18 awards are given - ranging from 'Image' to 'Best Song Parody'
