PST's "Year In Your Ear" weekend could have been a reunion. Thoughts?

Ya know, i'm hearing this "Year in your ear" weekend ware each hour is a different year of songs they play.
Great idea, but how about adding some of the older jingles? I remember ten years ago, in august they did a reunion weekend, with all the dj's comein' on board, and them playin airchecks , and listeners callin' in makein' requests, it was really cool. I'm thinkin they could have turned this weekend into that. Why not do news items of interest during that time, or movie/TV clips? Good idea, but Also, how true to the format is it anyway? I heard 1994 today represented at the 4 o'clock hour PM. Um, just one slight problem, PST wasn't playin some of that stuff then. It was leaning more grunge les top40, so shouldn't they have had that year bein' how the format was at that time?

Those older jingles would be "Real Music Variety 97-5 PST". I'm sure they don't want their audience to switch to Now 97.5.
