Less disco & falsetto, more like Bowie, Moody Blues, The Kinks & Genesis (with Peter Gabriel)
 
Those were my favorite Bee Gee's songs. I didn't follow them much when they became the kings of Disco.
 
You actually got your Radionomy station to work without Buffering or worse yet cutting off the air or having to refresh your browser several times to get it to tune in? How did ya do it? I had nothing but trouble with mine. Worse yet I read that they can't give a share of revenue as promised to their broadcasters. Sad indeed.

I uploaded all my music (that I ripped myself) and I have them stream it from their site. I haven't tried live yet but might do an hour or two in the future when I get a new computer. It sounds quite nice even when played on my home stereo so I'll just let them handle getting the sound out. :)

Their playlist generator seems to work well. The only repeat track I had (same song played twice in a short period) was during an hour variety show (with other 60s era London artists) where the show ran exactly one hour. When I programmed KAZM Sedona I had to do that manually so I don't mind when a machine slips in a repeat. Otherwise it looks like songs are nicely rotated as I've listened and checked the playlists generated on their board.

I wish they'd switch to AAC as MP3 is so 20th century and today's LC-AAC IMHO sounds better than legacy MPEG-1 layer 3. And I don't mind 64kbit HE-AAC as it saves 3G data use and it virtually doesn't drop when listening on the road.

So far I like how the station is going. However, if I remain the soul audience member this experiment may not last long. :'(

Still, it's been fun and far more productive than FarmVille.

Radionomy streams are constantly being improved and upgraded, and with their recent move to the US, streams will only get better. The revenue sharing is in place for broadcasters that meet the criteria. Remember, its a FREE service, so of course they are not going to enable every single producer to monetize unless they are generating a significant audience.

Diggin the BeeGees station as well! Have you tried joining FaceBook groups that allow you to post links to your radio to get more listeners? Online station directories? I heard some producers were also talking about acquiring quite a few more listeners through youtube promo vids.
