PTC Vs. "AGT" (Howard Stern)

Man, talk about stupid :) These Parents Television Council people really need to get a life.

They need to understand that Howard Stern isn't doing his radio show on TV, he's just judging a talent competition. So basically he's going to be Piers Morgan, or David Hasselhof.

If the PTC has a problem with Howard Stern, why didn't they have a problem with David Hasselhof when he was a just because he was, well basically a washed up actor and what he is.

Or if the PTC has a problem with America's Got Talent now, why didn't they have a problem with Jerry Springer when he was the host?

Seriously, these PTC people and the people who all they do is complain about radio and TV shows really need to get a life, or a hobby.

Because if all they have to do all day is organize boycotts of radio and TV shows when they haven't seen the show yet or just because they don't like them really need to be taken down a few pegs.
 
NBC isn't really THAT stupid. America's Got Talent is normally runs at 8 and it's always been very family friendly. Howard Stern will be no more different than Simon Cowell or Piers Morgan. The PTC thinks that Howard is going to bring nude girls in to the equation when in reality, that's not the case at all.
 
Reminds me of the time they went ape over Brazilian soft-porn star Xuxa
getting her own syndicated kids show here.

They protested a show that had not even aired yet, starring someone you likely
would not know unless you lived in Brazil. Or collected porn.

Of course her English was so gawd-awful that even if she had said something
naughty the kids would not have understood it.

Were they expecting her to do a daytime kiddie show topless?

The fact that the PTC's nonsense still invoke threads regarding their pointlessness means they still win.
Much like the Westboro bozos, if you talk about it they obtain the attention they both crave.

Considering he was usually the first to hit the button much as his predecessor was, Howard Stern is now Piers Morgan. (BTW: It's Hasselhoff)

...or maybe GET LOST! He who whines before the fact usually gets stood up. Stern had a couple of zingers - but nothing out of bounds (remember, this is a PG-rated show). He behaved himself and made the PTC look like total idiots at the same time. At least, that's what the on-air record showed.
