Given that I use my DVR to watch "Pardon the Interruption" on ESPN weekday afternoons, I noticed something interesting this week that I thought was a mistake but seems to be a programming strategy..
In between the first and second ad in a cluster, the camera switches back to the PTI set and you hear about ten seconds of banter betwen the hosts, producers or whoever else is needed on set..the PTI logo remains in the lefthand corner of the picture..then the next ad starts..
Not sure if this is an experiment of some sort, since "Rome is Burning" is not doing this..can't tell if "Around The Horn" is doing it, since I rarely if ever can sit through it..
Any thoughts?
