Public Radio East on WHYC?

It is great that PRE was able to help out WHYC.
Speaking of Public Radio East, are there any plans to add the Bryant Park Project show to any of the line ups?
I have been listening to it on Sirius for a few weeks and as a 25 year old I find it to be a good morning show.

I've never heard of the show you're referring to but what timeslot is it? I can't imagine they'd ever replace Morning Edition.

I am not familiar with the Bryant Park Project that you mentioned.

If there is one thing that I've learned in my years of radio, it's to "never say never". Having said that, I feel that Morning Edition is not going to change in the foreseeable future. Now when you look at the possibilities of HD2 & HD3 anything is possible. But we currently do not have any plans to go digital at the moment.

Bryant Park is really not right for PRE mornings. It could be repeated later, but only if the cost breakdown works. It's a kitschy "we all live in NYC" kind of show.

Let me say, PRE is sounding great. We've been down several times since momma Niewiadomski lives there. George sounds great on the sound, and the music is superior, better than I could ever think of. Kelly sounds great, Megan sounds great, and it's much better than DC radio. You guys have really stepped it up and improved the sound. Lots of great ideas that I intend to steal when I get the chance. The ID's and the postioning statement sound terrific. Adding in the We Bridge Sounds indentifier sounds excellent. I don't mean to brag about being affiliated with PRE, but what you've done is far beyond what I ever planned. You guys have serious vision. Yay PRE!

Thank you for the kind words. Kelly, George, Megen, Sefton and crew have really pulled things together.

Next time you're in New Bern, stop by. I have a photo that belongs to you.
