Pugs and Kelly fired from The Bone

They are not on today and web site shows Alexis as only on air personality

Yet they are still on the events calendar page, and under the "contact us" list page. Of course that could be bad website management, it wouldn't be the first time they disappeared from the site. Plus I called the station and the person there said that they will be back on Monday. But then again I've heard that before when I called 105.3 once upon a time. Interesting too, that I haven't heard one of their pre-recorded spots either. Heck 105.3 kept playing their spots for a week or two after they left there. Anyone got some substantial scuttlebutt, other than conjecture based on flimsy evidence?

I smell a format flip soon... No morning show, no afternoon show, no PD...

Without P&K how will I know what to watch on TV every night?

If they were fired I hope they find something soon. Not a big fan at all, but hate for anyone to be out of a job in this economy.

Has it been a year already?
Seems like only yesterday they were telling Russ to watch out. :D

It might be hard for them to land on their feet after this, at least in DFW.
Not too many jobs out there.

I wish them the best of luck. 'Cause I never know when the hatchetman be coming down the hall for me.

LOL telling Russ to watch out........yeah watch out when we get canned :p

I guess P&K forgot that old saying, "An unused weapon is a useless weapon," from "Spies Like Us'.
Case in point, "We have the bomb and aren't afraid to use it".

"If you boast about your superiority and your enemy is superior, then attack," from 'Wall Street'.
You (P&K) failed to do so and now must fall on your sword.

Like many others, time to hit the beach!!!!

P.S.
On your web site please don't use any pictures of satellites, or Saturn V rockets or pictures of New York City as a teaser.
It's already been done.

Party on Pugs and Kelly!!!

I truly hate when anybody loses there job, been there, done that, not fun.

But these two performers (??) really stunk it up, as a listener, I couldn't stand them.

Just a matter of time before it is 93.3 The Ticket....

And really.... that wouldn't be so bad.....

I have heard a more credible "discussion" of rock music on The Ticket, than I have ever heard on The Bone....

But then, when you're The Bone, and their basic concept calls for everything --but-- a credible discussion of rock music.... You get the picture, or maybe some have NO IDEA what I'm talking about!

I do think the discussion that the bone is ripe for a program change is on target. On top of the fact that the Ticket came close to losing the Hardline recently adds to the likelihood that the Ticket may be moving to 93.3. It is about time that the Ticket got a decent signal.
I like p&k, but the bone was not the right element for them...it would be good if they could get a program on 1360. That format would be a better enviroment for their show to get back on track.
I certainly hate to see anyone lose their job and with Pug's wife about to have a baby, the timing is bad. I certainly wish them the best...they are very nice people.

Moving The Ticket to FM would make the most sense. I'd love to see how a three way SportsTalk battle on FM would turn out.

For those of us living outside DFW: Did KTCK get back to full power after losing the three towers last year? Haven't been able to tell on my last few trips to the market.

Good Riddance and yet another sign of how dry the talent pool is. These two were horrible and like Russ, they have long overstayed their welcome. Why don't The Bone do us all a favor and turn out the lights. More music in the afternoon? What are they going to play that is going to get people to listen? Here is an idea, maybe they can pick up a feed from 92.5.

3 way battle, are you kidding. ESPN is a never was, The Fan will be gone before the end of summer. There will be no battle.

I hope not. If CBS was smart, they would get rid of that wack-a$$, so-called sports format, called "The Fan", and flip 105.3 to some music format, like top 40 or alternative, and let 103.3 and 93.3 do the sports thing.
