Pugs and Kelly question

I've heard from several different people that Kelly wasn't hired due to tallent. From what I've heard she obtained her job because Infinity wanted to avoid a legal issue in Chicago where Kelly might have been able to get some cash out of them. I hear that she said that she would drop charges if she was given a job in a high ranked market. Does anyone know the specifics? I've always known that she didn't get that job based on tallent. It's pretty bad when you gain employment in that way. I couldn't feel good about myself if I knew that the company that I worked for was only keeping me around to avoid a legal situation where they would have to spend some cash. I heard that this situation came from a phone call where Kelly was recorded and put on the air without her knowledge.

Thats the story you, I and alot of other people have heard. From hearing their on-air product, I believe it. IMHO, its way past time for them to go. I think Russ's pet dog Gavin should flex his muscle and just kick em to the curb. Dan and Tasos were better in that airshift during the "vacation" and should take it over.

And it was really amusing that during her vacation, Kelly called in to offer her 2 cents EVERY DAMN DAY!!!!! A little insecure are we?

Now there you go again-- treating the population of DEEP EAST TEXAS like they don't know what the hell is going on-- HEMPHILL, HUNINGTON, HUDSON, LUFKIN, DIBOLL.. they don't need to be subjected to the dismembered rants of someone like that! do they?

I know to which you talk about Vide0-- I lived there--and couldn't wait to get out of there fast enough!

That lawsuit also included her excess baggage; Pugs, Shemp/Mark DeYoung husband then ex-husband, & her 2 brats.
The phrase, Radio Talent and Kelly Mohr-DeYoung, should never be used together.
Because she has no radio talent. It is bad enough to listen to Stern give a great show with great interview questions and great ad libbing, (e.g., the Paul Anka interview and comments made during Robin's news). Then have to listen to kelly drone on about BS things in her life or Pug's life. After the usual 20 minutes of all about me talk, then the listener e-mail problems, then the news.
A REAL GROUND breaking format. This has been going on for how long????
Even Russ stopped making his 911 calls. Word has it Gavin signed them(April 05)for 2 years if this lawsuit made him due that he wont act when Stern leaves. Gavin is the good "YES MAN" of Infinity-Dallas.
Also, how did she get that plastic surgery show? Did her boob job get her that gig Gavin???
That show is a train wreck, every question has to be answered by Kelly (more all about me talk), the doctor has very little input. Plus,Kelly has no comedic timing or ad lib talent. She tries to be funny but her comments always fall short.

Maybe it is about time the curtain comes down on P&K. Gavin will have to do something before Stern leaves, which now being rumored to be mid October.
Come on Gavin, you have fired bad dj's before, just use the ratings as the reaon for termination, it wont be a lie.

Can we end the cross country tour of Texas and just have Pugs and Kelly get the hell out of town, listening distance, site of view.

There used to be a listening post out at the end of the Aleutian Islands that would be a great place for them. Or maybe, better yet, put them on Al Jazeera Radio.
