At Rockfish today for no reason they were on a remote and he got mad.. The begining of the END...

He knocked over a bunch of stuff and stormed out... I missed what happened but it is now the Kelly & Amil (sp?) Show.

No, he didn't knock over a bunch of stuff. I was watching on Ustream. His mic and computer chords got tangled when he was packing up but nothing was knocked over.

I wasn't watching it, but happened to hear the aftermath. Kelly certainly made it seemd like he knocked everything off of the table, and disconected the computer on purpose. Between this incident, and yesterday's down in the dumps show, I think that they have end of relationship issues occurring.

If this were unprecedented then maybe it would spell the beginning of the end. But this is a relatively common occurrence for them. See, this is why their show is so much better than the tightly scripted, bit-laden nonsense that passes for good radio on these boards.

I thought they said repeatedly that he stormed out? I have not been able to listen continuously as I am working but why would he stay at Rockfish if he is pissed? What??? Is he sitting at the bar shooting dirty looks at them?

At 3:05 pm cst, Kelly claimed that this is the last P&K show on 1360.

Must be. Ya know I gotta ask myself if this isn't a bit to go out with a blaze of glory. Based on yesterday's doom and gloom show, the moving boxes already, taking her kids out of school, the Dallas Observer conveniently being on site... I think it may have been planned and they were hinting at it yesterday.

Sad to see them end. When I first go to Dallas I was looking for Stern and found 105.3. I found there show and then found Russ. I loved 105.3 when it was good now they are all gone.

Kelly has done the show from Corpus before, I dont find that to be a threat.
I really hope that P&K work things out between the two of them and with their financial situation. They are all I have when it comes to a good radio talk show in the afternoon.

I can't see what the payoff would be if it was a bit. Sounds like Kelly is maybe giving up radio for now and Pugs is without work, which would explain why he's so upset. I thought they had lots of good moments over the years. It would be a shame if they eneded a long friendship over a life decision. They may be partners, but in the end, they don't have to answer to each other for the choices they make.
