Pulled in WARO 94-5 in Victoria, TX!

I was trying to pull in 94-5 The Buzz but instead picked up WARO The Arrow from Fort Myers! My best case of tropoducting ever!

That's classic Gulf Coast tropo. I remember pulling in signals from western Florida (usually the Panhandle) on quite a few nights while spending three years in southern Arkansas in the '70s.

Yep. That used to be commonly called the "Trans-Gulf Tropo." Usually a few times a year, you can pick up Florida stations in Texas and vice-versa.
