The last song for Pulse 87 on air & webstream at about 4:57pm was "Back In The U.S.S.R." by The Beatles from the album "The Beatles" (better known as the "White Album" due to its all snow white cover) released in 1968. A reference to the programming that was on the frequency before the switch to Pulse 87. Possibly going back to Russian brokered programs? We'll see..
Meanwhile at about 5:10pm on air (after 10 mins. of silence), there was a brief Station ID by a male voice: "WNYZ New York" followed by cold segues from one dance music tune to another - sounds like its streamed/lower sound quality as other posters pointed out. Also as others have said, the WNYZ-LP web audio stream is also running dance music, but different from the on-air version (unless there's a big time gap between the two). We'll see how long this all lasts.
