One of the most discussed topics in NY Radio is the right fit for the 92.3 FM frequency.
In the past, I have said 92.3 NOW has had success, but not the success that Fresh 102.7 has had on 106.7 Lite FM. When Fresh debuted, it pushed Lite to gear their station to update and still be #1.
With that said, given the saturated urban sound in NY Radio, would Pulse actually work back on FM? In a wildest dream, say CBS Radio were to purchase Pulse which is heard on the internet now and place it on a better sounding FM, would it have a grave effect as WBLS had when KissFM flipped to ESPN 98.7FM?
Pulse 92 would be the same as Pulse 87. Any thoughts?
