Creditors Threaten Mega Media's Pulse 87/New York
Mega Media Group's Rhythmic WNYZ-LP (Pulse 87)/New York, which asked for listener's assistance in raising cash a couple of weeks back, could be doomed for foreclosure. Reportedly, WNYZ's owners, Island Broadcasting, have lost confidence in Mega and are convinced the station will not be able to recover and pay off debt, and have decided to sell.
Island CEO Dick Bogner has give Mega until the end of August before creditors close down the station, despite its ten-year lease on the facility. (08-06-09)
