Punch TV announces more Texas affiliates

From their news release...

San Antonio KSAA 42.4
Dallas KHPK 26.2
Austin KVAT 17.1
Beaumont KAOB 27.4
Houston KVQT 21.5
El Paso KSCE 38
Lufkin KLNK 48.2

KVAT is uber directional. The tower is in West Lake Hills and the Community of License is Garfield so the signal heads east across Austin toward Garfield. I live in South Austin and am not in the coverage area.

Wow. Other than adhering to the letter of the law, according to the FCC, what does it really cover? Old west Austin, MLK and the Capitol on its way to Garfield?

Dallas is wrong. KHPK is 28
Punch is on KODF 26.2

It's understandable they got confused, though - Mako did have them over on KHPK/28.1 for awhile

You're right about that. Very confusing. Hard to see how anyone can market these stations to advertisers or the public.
