Re: Pussycat Dolls performing "Don't Cha" on CBS Early Show & Ellen ... WHY??
"The Early Show" on CBS caters to a rather older audience. The average age of their viewers is just shy of 60, so if you were booking The Pussycat Dolls you probably wouldn't want them to perform the risque "Beep" or "Buttons" and offend much of the audience. You would probably want them to perform the safe "Don't Cha" or even the safer "Stickwitu". Since their biggest hit was "Don't Cha", and there's a better than average chance that perhaps some of the viewing audience has heard of them for that particular hit that is why they probably went with it. It's essentially their signature tune.
"Ellen" has been on vacation for about a month now. You saw a rerun from earlier this year.
