I would hate to see the 70s go. I was dissapointed when Coast 107.3 dropped classic 70s in favor of becoming WBBY The Bay. Coast was one of the few stations that sounded like a 70s radio station. WRBQ Q 105 comes pretty darn close with its classic hits format. I used to listen to Uncle Johnny 6-10 nights on the original Q 105, and today's 70s at 7, to me, sounded pretty close to the old Q 105 days.
The big deal is the 70s at 7 is ALL 70s without the 60s and 80s added to the mix. The rest of the day, although it may be 90% 70s, still leaves 10% of everything else, which, to me, takes away from the 70s no matter how little. The 70s at 7 is at least two hours out of 24 that I can listen to ALL 70s and nothing BUT the 70s which is what I like. And THAT is the big deal to me.
