If you are within the sound of our voice, listen to Bigfoot 93.7 KANY tomorrow morning at 6 am. And no, we don't stream.
um....announcing the return of fun lovin' ass clown radio team, big D and bubba in the morning???

we give up!
We're just doing what the listeners have asked for... is that a terrible concept?

Hold on Bill- even I know they haven't asked you NOT to stream...

How many have asked for BD&B? I've found through research I've read that about 1-2% of listeners will even pick up the phone. What are your thoughts on that?

Re: Big D and Bubba. Listeners asked for them. Even my own employees have confessed that they listened to Q Country for B D and B. They had a good following on Q Country before the plug was pulled.

Re: streaming... still cogitating on that one.

Happy Thanksgiving all..

Randy, your research parallels mine. We've already several local clients who are excited about it. BDB isn't the only morning show in town, but it had established itself over several years on Q Country, so it was a no-brainer for me.

Bill, I applaud your move. Curious if you reached out to them or vice versa.

Wish I could more easily pick up your signals. Sounds like you run a good operation.

Happy Thanksgiving.

maybe danny bonaduce will come available as well, for morning show duty on another one of your stations.
you can even buy out his contract from CBS.

honestly bill, i aint ever took much time to hear Big D and bubba. so i'll quit my sharp tongue, and ridicule on them, your new boys. at least for now... which ones bubba? must be the heavy set feller.

Nope, no Danny here. Ever. Timing is everything, and name recognition drops real fast. If Big D and Bubba had been off the air six months, I might not have done it.

ESPN must be happy with the 102.9 switch. There's a 1 kw AM down here that may suffer, although they never showed in the Arbitron County Report anyway.

Nope... BID D is the larger in stature of the two. Both are extremely good guys. They will do well in the Harbor.

Bill-

Don't think ESPN is happy with the switch. ESPN is the other shop in town, and so far KIRO (710 ESPN) has made no indication they are pursuing an FM frequency in response. Though if/when you get KANY moved they may want to talk with you. KJR 950/102.9 clears Fox Sports when they are not local.

KJR's Simulcast on 102.9 isnt the only AM/FM Simulcast that uses one set of Call Letters on the FM during the Hour. but have a different set of call Letters as the Legal ID.

San Francisco does the same thing. KCBS(AM) simulcasts on KFRC-FM, the only time the KFRC calls are mentioned are during the TOH ID.

Hey, Bill. Try Crystal Media Networks for the streaming. They might trade it out with ya.
