On Halloween day, they played a remixed version of "The Monster Mash" by Bobby "Boris" Pickett. The beat was louder, and a bit annoying. Worse was the overall echo sound. Just awful. One of the reasons that this song/recording has stood the test of time so well is because the original production and performance values are so good. Why mess with success and a classic. Two or three years ago WAKS played the far superior original version in heavy rotation for the days leading up to, and including, Halloween.
