Q100 in Afternoon Drive

i think that's what they officially want to turn it into.
i know when i go to q100.com during the time the show's on, it says "on air now: dylan and jamie." so perhaps they want a little piece of the cindy and ray crowd?

Yes they are trying to duplicate Cindy and Ray. I noticed at night also it is a lot of Gellar and Wendy. Add that to the fact that 99x is now doing Axel and Leslie I think someone at Susquehenna/Cumulus is spending alot of time listening to Star94.

Yes they are trying to duplicate Cindy and Ray. I noticed at night also it is a lot of Gellar and Wendy. Add that to the fact that 99x is now doing Axel and Leslie I think someone at Susquehenna/Cumulus is spending alot of time listening to Star94.

No - see unlike some people on this board, I don't blindly support one station or the other and bash personalities etc... I do prefer Q to Star, and think they are a better Top 40 radio station. Cindy and Ray do a good job, the ratings show it. Is Q looking to capture that same "show" vibe in afternoons - maybe. Honestly I rarely get to hear either station in the afternoon - so I really can't comment on which I prefer.

No - see unlike some people on this board, I don't blindly support one station or the other and bash personalities etc... I do prefer Q to Star, and think they are a better Top 40 radio station. Cindy and Ray do a good job, the ratings show it. Is Q looking to capture that same "show" vibe in afternoons - maybe. Honestly I rarely get to hear either station in the afternoon - so I really can't comment on which I prefer.
Q is still different from Star in the afternoons ... I'd say Q is still more music intensive. I can't stand Cindy & Ray .... I think it's the lamest sounding radio I've ever heard .... but that's just me.

Whoever Q100, 99X or Star 94 put on in the afternoon drive, Michael Baisden will blow them out of the water. Kudos to 102.5 for finally piping him through.
