Will local announcers return to the station. I don't think I've heard anyone live. What gives?

Rob, there is nobody on in the afternoon.
Last year Wendy Summers was fired from John & Wendy. Then they brought in this God aweful chick named JJ that no only sounded rough, she looked nasty dirty, like a man stuck in the 80's. She was fired in May. Word has it she was on 'something' 24/7 and the few people I spoke with said she caused a ton of trouble as a pathogical liar..which by the way finally caught up wiht the PD John "puker" Stuart, so HE got canned at the end of June or July, no sure.
They started to promote Kraddick, which I do like but don't think he'll last in this market. I never hear any music in the morning. The only one I hear is Lu Valentino. I hear her doing live remote broadcasts. I called the station yesterday to see if they were ever going to have local jocks and asked who was in the studio in the mornings and they said a guy named matt is in charge in the mornings and Valentino pops in to do entertainment stuff when Kraddick goes to his breaks.
The receptionist said to keep listening and new jocks will be on really soon after Kidd, and that Lu was staying but not in afternoons. I sort of like all music...My wife can no longer listen because there is ZERO music on during kraddicks show. And I miss hearing Lu in the afternoons.
With the ratings out this week, does anyone know how they did all around? Did they make this chance because the ratings were bad? Jake

Their webstream boasts thousands of listeners (more then their 5KW signal can handle)

LOLOL I just went onto that KPIG site VERY COOL ROBFWB! That is one very cool station. I was just venting with my fingers all over the alabama board and visting here again. Kidd Kraddick HAS not changed buddy, they play ZERO music, which I do not understand. They now have a guy in the morning during KID CRAPPICK doing weather, he sounds better than kidd and he's only doing weather! Now they have a new guy in lu valentino's slot in the afternoon, he sounds like he's from 1960 and we laugh everytime we hear him. AND to top it off he is the new program manager. Is he the only one working there now? where did lu valentino go? Is she even on anymore?
I'm goin to email my buddy in Dallas, he's a freako, he's going to dig that KPIG site. I always enjoy reading your post robfwb, you seam to have a good knowlegde of the gulf coast market dude.

To my ears, WABB, Cat Country 98.7, TK101, AND Lite Mix are all fairly decent stations

I think WYCL is better than WMXC, even though WMXC does not play any disco/70's music.
Do you know why WMXC has Deliah 7 nights per week? Just curious.
