Q100: TODAY's BERT SHOW HIGHLY EMOTIONAL......

For years, the Bert Show has been accused of manufacturing its stories with actors and buddies on the "voice disguiser." Indeed, there are services that provide actors for such stories for radio morning shows. Question: did the Bert Show use them in the past and continue to do so or have they stopped doing so. Jeff is squirrelly about what they used to do but said they don't now for sure. What do you think?

And if someone has the name of one of those services, please email me at [email protected]. I'd love to talk to them, not that they'd ever own up to such a service...

it's called show business for a reason.

i admit the "callers" sound real, but we're talking about a top 10 market morning show. they're supposed to sound real.

Everytime you hear one of those "inarticulate and stammering liberals" on Sean Hannity, that's exactly what you're hearing. I know who does them (and he's a Democrat!) but I ain't sayin'. Hannity is scum.

This morning show is too much like an audio of “The Jerry Springer Show”. The whole thing sounded so fake, it was hard to get through.

I believe Melissa’s intentions are good, but her message gets lost in the dramatic delivery. I’ve always been a fan of the first “out” gay DJ in Atlanta….Yvonne Monet. She never crams it down your throat that she bats for the other team.

I called Hannity's show once. I'm not sure if the callers are fake, but I do know that I called once and the screener cut me off because she ASSUMED by the way I started my sentence that I was going to disagree with him.She couldn't really know what I was going to say based puely on "Everything he is saying is...| (cut) "

Then She said "I don't have time for this" then hung up. It's not like he needed my help that day, but I surely did have something to contribute TOWARDS his show that day that people needed to hear for a change. It's not every day he gets callers from my demographics helping him to make the kind of points he was trying to make that day!

...Ok this really has nothing to do with Q100.

This has nothing to do with Q100, either - but a little to do with Hannity:

This morning, Moby was greeted by a caller telling him, "You're a great American." That apparently led Moby to rant about how come Hannity has not kept his promise to invite Moby to New York to appear on his "Great American Panel" segment of his Fox News Channel show. Then he mentioend how he didn't get a response from Sean about the new "Oil Spill" song parody he put together (which is quite funny, I heard it last week). So he gave out Sean's AOL e-mail address over the air! And he asked the caller and all of his listeners to e-mail Sean. Is that legal? It's not a public e-mail address, I don't think...

May I have it please? hehehehheh

No, Hannity just wants Moby to THINK he's using an AOL address.

It's kinda like that phone number the hot girl gives you at the bar. ;D

It could just be an old email address that Hannity has relegated to the spammers...or a made-up one for public consumption...kind of like [email protected] - not an email address I ever had, but one I often use when someone requires an email address and it's none of their business.
