Q100's Music Mix

In the past week, I seem to be hearing a number of recurrents and older songs (such as No Doubt's "It's My Life") in Q100's regular rotation. Has anyone noticed this?

When Q100 first went on the air in 2001, they were playing a song by a 70's female artist once an hour. It sounded strange to be listening to current CHR and suddenly hear "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor. I went up to Brian Philips, the architect, at Q's launch party at the Velvet Room and asked him the reason. He said those were the highest-testing songs among 25-34-year-old females. I suspect Brian, who was very smart, was being too brilliant for his own good. That didn't last long.

... and Q was playing like Salt n' Pepper's "Push It" all the time too.
