Q101 Out of its Missery

What is the web site that shows all the ratings?

If only some of us would look around the radio-info.com we would get some answers to our questions: http://www.radio-info.com/site/markets/grid/chicago (;
Perhaps some stations still have decent income despite their ratings; some advertisers don't care about the numbers and buy air time on certain stations anyways...
Some stations leave well enough alone: their listeners are happy with the station's programming output and the station is OK with the income they are bringing in. So
ratings are not that big of a deal to some stations...

The reason why they're doing so bad is because they're an Alternative station but lean extremely towards active rock. Usually, Alternative stations that don't include much Active Rock product like KROQ, WRFF and KYSR do well in PPM markets. They also have competition from WXRT which doesn't help exactly. Q101 is a legendary Alternative station, I'd love to see it go back to its roots.

I 'totally' agree. Q101 was the best then!

Re: Q101 Out of its Misery

I really like the music on KYSR/Los Angeles. I wish they (or somebody) would sound like this here in Chicago.

change it to dance and bring back sonic boom. or go back to chr and include the songs that kiss doesnt play.
