With all due respect, all you ever seem to do is disagree...for the sake of being disagreeable! At least people take him seriously. That's one of the perks of using one's real name.

That's not Dub. He posts, on occasion, on this site (not this board specifically), but that's not his screen name.

Good guess, though. :)

Not true. I disagree with idiots that spout nonsense...Like yourself.

You sound like the type of person that agrees with and likes everything that is generally popular with the majority. You mean to tell me you're only capable of taking someone seriously if they use their real name???

You're dumb.

Okay, I was trying to be respectful but I see that won't work with you. Look, you're a buffoon and everyone who reads your bull thinks so. (Look up buffoon so you really understand what it means. Try dictionary.com.) Don't confuse the fact that people are enjoying watching this little tirade of yours with the idea that people are taking you seriously. We're not. We all enjoy watching people make fools of themselves in public (for instance, Mariah Carey, Tom Cruise, and you).

You don't really expect that I care what "type of person" a buffoon like you "thinks" I am? And you don't really expect that it matters when you--of all people--so eloquently call someone else "dumb." Do you? Do you really?

All you've done here is made a more brilliant illustration of how you are not to be taken seriously. And it's about time you did something brilliant. I guess it might help if you'd use your real name.

Carry on if you must; I'm done with you.

Consider the history:

- "Wild" 96.5 signs on, so Q starts the "Wyld 5 at 9". CC gives Beasley a C&D because CC uses the "Wyld" name in one other market and it's trademarked.

- Coincidentally, an intern named "Rocco" becomes a lot more prominent at Q at the same time.

Dirty? Yep, but Q's just getting a taste of it's own medicine with this "B-Dub" thing.

I imagine the next Wired intern is going to be named "Todd Shannon".

> You certainly do get extra points for using your real name.
> Sorry. You just do!

For the record, I'm pretty sure most people using "real names" here aren't using their "real name". They're using radio names.

Thank you.

B-Dub? Rub-A-Dub-Dub? Hubbub? I'm confused.

And, before B-Dub was wowing the cheeseheads in Milwaukee, he was wowing the overall-wearing Bubbas in Market #88...Mobile, Alabama! He worked for the legend-in-his-own-mind programmer there...Ted Stryker...who "groomed him to be the audio stud he is." Gotta love it: moving from Milwaukee to Philly...from cheeseheads to cheesesteaks.

Cueing the theme here from "The Jeffersons"..."...well, I'm movin on up...to the East Side..." Maybe now he can move up to being known as "A-Dub". :)

And, yes, he is yet another welcome "outsider" entering the hippie commune known as "Philly Radio". HOO-yah! As for me, I'm lighting a candle to St. Kal of Rudman in grateful appreciation of that fact.

Ya.. I'm sure he also has ugly girls check into the shower with him.

Amen, Zardoz! Well-said!

That is hilarious! LMAO!

If Q was smart...

They would have Kasper replace Toby Knapp as their token out-of-market-weekend-fill-in-Voicetracker. Or maybe that makes too much sense?

Well, I think attacking the station is one thing...but going after a jock--and one who isn't even in town yet--is just hitting below the belt. The Wyld 5 at 9 thing was idiotic in and of itself...but that didn't do harm to a person; it was a shot at the station. Maybe I'm overreacting.

BTW, IMHO, both Roccos are ridiculous: One is an annoying character and the other is talentless.

The Wired-intern-named-Todd-Shannon idea is hilarious though. :)

Re: If Q was smart...

He's been VTing back to KISS here in Cleveland since Jet Black was let go back in the Spring; he does a great job with it, you can't tell he's in Philadelphia. (except for the occasional caller that seems to have that thick New-Joi-zee accent!)

Smart? LOL. They lost all intelligence when Brian Bridgman left.

I am guessing you don't have a job...or a life...or anything going except the internet...3/4 of this thread is you...tell us about you.

Its cool to have an opinion...but this is nuts..you remind me of this guy i went to college with and thought he knew EVERYTHING about radio by reading FMQB.

Not to worry. He's been "quit" involuntarily.
