Q102 - Let the speculation begin!

Word is the new PD at Q102 has already been hired. Someone within the company, someone with ties to PA in some way, shape or form. Who could it be?

My guess is Toby Knapp....

That would be my guess as well. There's also speculation he'll be the new PD at XL 106.7 Orlando.
He's been doing an outstanding job at WNOK Columbia, and prior to that at 93.3 FLZ Tampa.

I would say Toby is first in line. He has roots there and is due for a move up the ladder. Philly would be more money than Columbia (or Orlando, for that matter). Would he shake around the Q line-up at all? He's got quite the list of favorite jocks on his All Access 10 Questions.

Then again, a lot of CC PD's made All Access Action yesterday. Maybe Rob Morris from KDWB is up for the gig. Or Rod Phillips at Kiss FM/Chicago? Or maybe Joel Denver's just wanking us off.

As soon as I saw "PA ties" and "within the company", Toby immediately came to mind. I would not be remotely surprised if he became the new PD at Q102...I think he'd do a very good job, as a matter of fact.

I doubt Phillips would leave Chi-Town for Philly, but I could be wrong. Any other names come to mind?

Mike McCoy, WNCI/Columbus by way of WHKF/Harrisburg & WLAN/Lancaster??? I think he's from PA...
