I agree, they're frequency sounds crappy, and DJ Mrozek sounds like a surfer boy on crack.

Oh well. Like they say in the biz, you don't like what is played, don't listen.

I finally figured out I could listen online. I kind of like it. The imaging is really strong, at least. Mrozek isn't any worse than any other rock jock with attitude.

They remind me of the Brew in Milwaukee, which launched like gangbusters.

Well, the q really didnt launch like gangbusters did it??
It sounded more like a wet fart to me...
The imaging is really lameass too...so generic...I will miss the good ol days of the Edge...Kinda wish I kept my edge shirt that chili signed for me...hahahahahahaha
 
I meant in the ratings. We won't know anything about the Q launch for months. Of course they have a tough row regardless with losing Stern's share.

I'm really shocked you didn't like the imaging. I heard a piece with Angus Young and Axl Rose that sounded really good.

I have no doubt you'd hate the station if you are are an Edge fan. This is kind of for old farts like me who graduated from high school in the early eighties. It's a fun music mix.

I've been looking at these stations for a while...Milwaukee, Kansas City, Fort Collins, etc. etc. The "eighties classic rock" thing is just my thing I guess. Albany's music mix isn't as good as Milwaukee's, but otherwise I think they sound pretty good.

I'm looking forward to one of these signing on in m town next!
