Don't you DARE blame me for rumors, look at the facts:
Hey, don't blame me. Blame the fine folks at Infinity that blatently fueled the fire that one of Cleveland's stations would be hi-Jacked, most certainally by the end of the year. WQAL is Infinity's red-headed stepchild when compared to WNCX, WXTM and WDOK.
"Half-baked?" Hahahahahaha. Last I checked, the only drugs I take are by PRESCRIPTION.
I am NO fan of Mr. Fee. That's obvious. While talented PDs like Jim Davis, Steve Legurski and John Gorman whittle away on the bench, Undeserving Allan has been WQAL's PD for five years now.
The station had no objective focus until Fig came on board - it barely did when Dan Binder had like duties a few years aback. When Allan came, the previous airstaff slowly left. Most of them for BETTER gigs like Fig, but they lft nonetheless.
Q-104's image is burnt. I've tried to find a heartbeat- it isn't there. (Sound familiar? It was Jacor's rational when they *decided* to kill off WMMS' rock format.)
Oh, and WMVX/106.5 is doing nothing to quell any suspicion about it's future. Even with a new *solid* PD in place. It's now become a clearinghouse for anything, sure. It's just not as lethal as Q92
