Q105 Middays - Automated And/Or Voicetracked?

Actually I recall an old Manatee Sheriff's Dispatcher giving out late night calls in the 70's in "One-co" as a joke, or change of pace... I have used it in Public Safety and Transit dispatching myself intentionally...on occasion.

BradINGton and EllINGton are my biggest local complaints of mispronunciation...THERE IS NO ING IN EITHER WORD !!!!!

Later...

heck you live up north where I do you have to add the designation afterwards........we have four different streets all with the same first name.....but they are Blvd., Street, Road and Avenue. And I remember grwoing up in Pinellas Park never calling it anything other than Park Blvd.

Sa-ra-so-ta! and Palmetto have Streets which run E-W and Avenues run N-S. Sandwiched in-between is Bradenton that runs contrary to both.

But rarely do I hear Park referred to as Park Blvd.
