In 1983 I ended up at WAVA and Bill Tanner at WASH in a 3 way battle against Q107. No one gave WAVA a prayer in the battle.

Interesting choice of words. ;) Great stories!

That was the QZoo Tube. If I remember correctly, I believe it was first shown only on Jones Intercable. Then the show moved to the otherwise full-time Home Shopping Network affiliate WBHS Channel 50. Then it shifted to WTMV V-32. The final stop was WTTA Channel 38 where it even continued after Cleveland was long-gone (with Mike Elliot & Bo Reynolds doing the morning show.)

Do a search on You Tube, and you'll see some original footage of the QZoo Tube.

Thanks! Hadn't even thought of looking on Youtube. And I seem to recall Bo Reyonds being on the show -- was he there in the summer of '91?

As a side note, Bo Reynolds was brought to Y95 Phoenix to do mornings in the Fall of 1992. He remained with the station through its final day (9/2/93).

And for whatever it's worth...here are the logos for Q94 Richmond, Q106 San Diego, and Y95 Phoenix (although the Y95 one looks like a bit of an impostor)...

Yes, I believe he had moved to mornings by then. He originally did afternoon drive on Q105 in 1990, but was moved to mornings shortly after that when Kent Voss left. Bo Reynolds was my favorite of the 1990's era Q105 jocks. Last I heard he's hosting a syndicated country show.

Looking for new/mint Q 105 XL shirt, sticker, plates, etc...will pay a reasonable price..........
